{"id":257038,"date":"2024-10-19T16:59:56","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T16:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-iso-13232-22005\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T12:33:29","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T12:33:29","slug":"bs-iso-13232-22005","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-iso-13232-22005\/","title":{"rendered":"BS ISO 13232-2:2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This part of ISO&nbsp;13232 specifies minimum requirements for the collection and analysis of all motorcycle accident data, in order to provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>a standardized and representative sub-set of car\/motorcycle accident data; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>a sub-set of car\/motorcycle impact conditions based on the analysis of this standardized accident data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ISO&nbsp;13232 specifies the minimum requirements for research into the feasibility of protective devices fitted to motorcycles, which are intended to protect the rider in the event of a collision.<\/p>\n<p>ISO&nbsp;13232 is applicable to impact tests involving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>two-wheeled motorcycles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>the specified type of opposing vehicle;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>either a stationary and a moving vehicle or two moving vehicles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>for any moving vehicle, a steady speed and straight-line motion immediately prior to impact;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>one helmeted dummy in a normal seating position on an upright motorcycle;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>the measurement of the potential for specified types of injury by body region; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>evaluation of the results of paired impact tests (i.e. comparisons between motorcycles fitted and not fitted with the proposed devices).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ISO&nbsp;13232 does not apply to testing for regulatory or legislative purposes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Motorcycles.
