Provides users of pyrogen fire extinguishing systems with the necessary requirements needed in the regular maintenance of such systems.
Scope
This Standard sets out requirements for the regular maintenance of fire extinguishing systems utilizing SOYUZ pyrogenically generated fire extinguishing aerosols, designed and installed in accordance with AS/NZS 4487. Regular maintenance includes inspection and testing. The Pyrogen fire extinguishing aerosol shall be referred to as the 'extinguishant' in this Standard.
NOTE: A Pyrogen fire extinguishing aerosol system is generally referred to in this Standard as
'a Pyrogen system' or 'the Pyrogen system'.
