BS 6375 is the national application document for BS EN 14351 and identifies the characteristics and classes of performance appropriate for windows and internal/external pedestrian doorsets intended for the UK. It is applicable to both factory-glazed and site-glazed products.
This part of BS 6375 identifies those characteristics covered by BS EN 14351 that are not discussed in the other parts of BS 6375.
In addition to the definitive requirements, this standard also requires the items detailed in Clause 6 to be documented. For compliance with this standard, both the definitive requirements and the documented items have to be met.
NOTE Handing. There are two conventions for handing, both of which are acceptable (view from the inside or from the outside). Care needs to be taken not to mistake the method used.
