9.1 Lampholders shall be so designed that, when fully assembled, live parts of the lampholder are not accessible when the lampholder is fitted with the testing device shown in BS EN 61184:1997, Figure 7. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

20.1 Contacts and other parts of rolled sheets of copper or copper alloy whose failure might cause the lampholder to become unsafe shall not be damaged due to excessive residual stresses.
21 Endurance
21.1 Lampholders with enhanced safety shall be capable of making and breaking a load comprising a general lighting service (GLS) tungsten filament lamp operating at rated voltage. Compliance shall be checked by the following tests.
21.2 Following completion of the relevant tests specified in 18.1 and after having cooled to room temperature, the lampholder shall be tested with a.c. (cos\u0152 = 1) at rated voltage using a 150 W lamp. The lamp shall be inserted and removed 250 times at a <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
