This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the chronic toxicity to Ceriodaphnia dubia<\/i> (Cladocera, Crustacea), based on reproduction inhibition after (7 \u00b1 1) d.<\/p>\n

The method is applicable to:<\/p>\n

    chemical substances which are soluble or which can be maintained as stable suspensions or dispersions under the conditions of the test;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    industrial or sewage effluents, if appropriate after decantation, filtration or centrifugation;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    fresh waters;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    aqueous extracts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
