It complements ISO 6240 by listing factors to be considered for performance standards. <br \/> Field of application <br \/> This International Standard is intended to assist standards committees concerned with the performance of whole buildings, of parts of buildings (components, assemblies and sub-systems) and of the spaces within and around buildings.
