It is a specialization of the IMF Framework. \u2014 Application #5 targets archival applications where a TV or movie title is to be archived as a single, high-quality set of master files from which one or more content versions can be derived. \u2014 It features SMPTE ST 2065-1 (ACES) image essence of arbitrary spatial and temporal resolution with individual frames encoded as ACES images. \u2014 The transformation of Application #5 Compositions to the output formats appropriate for different distribution channels is specified in other documents and outside the scope of this document. To facilitate Output Profile List processing, Annex A defines Pixel Color Schemes, as specified in SMPTE ST 2067-101, for the use with IMF Application #5.<\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This document has an associated Data Supplement, accessible for download from the \u201cMedia\u201d tab when the user has full-text access rights. SMPTE Data Supplements contain files intended for use with the SMPTE Engineering Document (Standard, Recommended Practice, or Engineering Guideline) with the corresponding filename and publication date. Use of these files without consulting the corresponding SMPTE Engineering Document is NOT supported.
