The<br \/>\nresults of this test provide an indication as to the relative<br \/>\nstrength of the cable-to-intercnnecting device joint and may also<br \/>\nindicate degradation resulting from prior environmental<br \/>\nexposure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure Modes.<\/strong> Potential failure modes for this<br \/>\ntest includ, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>a. Cable Jacket Damage,<\/p>\n<p>b.Fiber breakage or damage,<\/p>\n<p>c. cable clamp failure,<\/p>\n<p>d. Loss of optical continuity,<\/p>\n<p>f. Failure of fiber-terminus relative to interconnecting<br \/>\ndevice.<\/p>\n<p>g. Cable seal damage.<\/p>\n<p>h. Excessive movement of cable\/terminus relative to<br \/>\ninterconnecting device,<\/p>\n<p>i.
